I had a fabulous weekend, and I hope you did too! Saturday after our toddler music class we drove to Corvallis for the fall festival. We got to hang out with Sarah who snapped this photo.
Ah my two loves! So sweet.
Sunday was the shower in honor of Kathy, who is due next month.
Tracy and I threw it (she’s due on Valentine’s day, how cute is that?!?!).
We played up the orange and green theme (colors of her nursery). We had faux-mosas (a hit!), cheese and crackers, orange and green fruit parfaits, and these:
Little appetizers made from hollowed out cherry tomatoes (from our yard). Bj made these before and they are so good, though a bit tedious.
I love throwing parties, especially ones where I can get out the fancy dishes. What’s the last party you threw? I’m thinking I need to throw more of them!
oh goodness, I want to come to one of your parties. that cake is AWESOME!!!
That party looks like it was great! Yes, you should throw more parties! I hadn’t heard about the chickens passing, that’s good news. Do you think you will get some?
