And she’s gone.

The new owners came and got her this morning. I’m sad, but as Bj keeps telling me, I AM getting a new car soonish. So have fun with your adventures in Alaska dear car. I’ll miss you.

  1. If you really love something you have to let it go. It reminds me of a story:
Once there was this old man who had the same pair of sneakers for 10 years. When it was suggested to him that he get a new pair (since who knew what was growing in them), he replied, “Never, these are the most comfortable shoes ever and suit me just fine.” After continual convincing he finally got a new pair and exclaimed. “What was I thinking before—these sneakers are incredible! I am a fool for waiting so long. And proceeded to throw out the old pair.”

  2. can’t wait to hear about your adventure! I know it is hard to let go of something you love but you are getting a newer car too 🙂

  3. Amber, I so see you in a VW Beetle Bug Convertible. Green of course!

  4. Good Bye Sweet Car… You’ve taken good care of all of us down the many roads traveled! May you have many more adventures! And Amber that new car that BJ is going to get you will be even better than the Acura for sure! Have a fun trip! Love you both!

  5. It was a great car, but your new one will be even better! And hopefully “soonish” means more sooner than later! 🙂

  6. Between BJ and Brent, you have plenty of freakin’ cars to drive =)
