  • Okay so I finally put together a photo album I’ve been wanting to do since I started blogging. This is a my peeps album. All the people I talk about. So you can have a nice visual reference. Check it out over on the side bar. I’ve listed who they, relation to me, and perhaps an interesting fact or two. There are definitely some missing links, and if that’s you watch out because I’m going to find some old funny picture of you and scan it in. I did do some other things today, mostly listing a bunch of stuff on eBay. If you’ve had your eye on my wondrous Coach bag, now is your chance. I need the money more than the bag, so up it goes. Also a dressy suit skirt combo that I thought I would wear to interviews and stuff, but turns out I got hired no problem. My bridesmaid dress is up there, and the Nikon lens that came in the kit for my D50, I already had one, so this ones up on the block. I’m going to list some more stuff tomorrow so check it. I’ll leave you with this:

  • I love my horoscope widget:
“…Build lots of wiggle room and plenty of options into your schedule – and allow for random, unexpected greatness. If you can be ready to go with the flow it can take you to some pretty tremendous places now. And if you can take a risk at the right moment you can be rewarded in some pretty tremendous ways.” That’s awesome!

Okay so what have I been up to?  Well knitting a second pair of gloves for Taylor, and playing with my Christmas goodies: whitening my teeth with go smile, making myself feel pretty in some new bras, drooling over new knitting patterns, slathering myself with my favorite lotion, munching on my favorite sweets, and lounging in new pj’s.

Plus I got a camera, that’s right, a camera. Here’s the thing. I got that digital camera a while ago, as you may  remember. It only cost like 100 bucks and I just wanted it to swing around in my purse, but I got addicted to the digital format and found myself pulling out my Nikon N65 less and less. I’m sure my photography professor would scream if he saw how much I was pointing and shooting. So I was looking into a new body that I could use all my lenses with, and accessories. Well I really wanted the D200, but come one, that is way out of my range. So I was walking the mall after Christmas and Shutterbug had a deal on a D50 kit. I already had the lens that came with it, but even with that the package was cheaper than the body normally costs. So I got it! I pooled my Christmas money and am returning some boots (that I did ask for, yes, in bright orange, I thought they would look good on me, um, they don’t) so I can afford it. I love my camera, it’s so similar to the N65 that it’s really easier for me to work with. All my lenses work with it, and my remote even! Went outside with Scully and took some pictures today:

Okay well, that sucks. I shot this in raw, and it also takes a jpeg, the jpeg is what I can put on here, and it’s no where near the raw image.  The raw file of this photo just blows me away with it’s color and clarity. Hmm, I’ll have to figure out how to do that, but I have it optimized for on screen editing and printing. I’m going to play with it more this weekend with Bj. Maybe whale watching, the Japanese gardens, we haven’t decided yet. I’ll figure out how to get good pictures for you though!
