It has been a long time since I shared my craft room. I love seeing little glimpses that tell me I had a toddler at the time! Now that I have a 9 and 5 year old I don’t need that baby gate or little basket of baby toys. I’ve also changed the way I work and what I work on. Plus I’ve accumulated more crafting stuff, of course. Also there were things that never worked well, like the curtains on hooks. It may have looked neat but climbing on my desks to close them at night was so annoying.…

Please excuse the cell phone pics… as you can imagine it only looked this pristine for a short while and I didn’t snag any better pictures with my big dslr. We finished! We used this plan from Ana White, only slightly modified to remove a step and add a ladder rung so it would fit under our window. Also you can’t see it, but we did add an extra 2×6 on the bottom back as an extra brace. I whipped up some bunting and Bj hung a few poofs (left over from a wedding; a friend was giving them away).…

We did it! And they loved it. More pictures later. The holidays continue for us with another celebration this weekend… and then I need to start thinking about Tuesday’s fifth birthday! Hope this time of year finds you with family and friends! Much love from the Garrison’s!
