I had a fantastic weekend this weekend with my two old roommates Sciarrino and Laura. I hadn’t seen Laura since the wedding and hadn’t really hung out with her in years. Sciarrino had this idea to go to this cool place in southern Oregon call the Treesort for her birthday (which his Friday). It’s a bed and breakfast (sort of) up in the trees. I have a bunch of emails to answer, so if some are yours sorry! One of the emails I got was a request to go over how you spin yarn. Sure! Now just remember I’m no expert, I’ve taken a few lessons, but I still feel like I only know the basics. So basically you need a fiber and something to spin it with. I use a wheel, but there are also drop spindles, cheaper, but they look like it might take a herculean amount of hand eye coordination to figure out. I think that might…
