That we have plants. They are almost all in the ground after a busy work weekend. I am so happy with them. But many of them are not happy with me after days of HOT HOT HOT. My roses especially took a beating (this is the before on those). My mother in law was kind enough to come down again (she was here a week ago) to help us finish things up. Hopefully we’ll have it all done in a few days! The fence starts today! Until then; here’s to dirt under your fingernails.

Lack of blogging is due to a lack of plants in my yard. Lack of plants are due to lack of budget (and some might say lack of foresight)… But I’m working on it, don’t count me out yet!

We had a lovely weekend—the sun came out! This coincided nicely with Bj’s parents going to the coast, so we joined them for a dinner: Bayfront dinner with my two favorite people, yes please! And guess what? I ate fresh caught crab (for those of you who don’t know I normally don’t touch seafood). It was good, that butter helped 🙂 Tuesday got to run around: Giggling at the wind picking up sticks, rocks and little flowers. We stopped quickly at the cheese factory: I’ll admit this was mainly so I could get root beer ice cream, which is hard…
