When I started freezer cooking with my friend Kathy the first thing I suggested was a breakfast pie that my mom makes. It’s easy, it’s quick and it’s always a hit. I have been having trouble eating much of anything. Not a lot of appetite, nothing sounds good, running out of room. A bunch of reasons why the kitchen has not been my favorite place. Now with a few fresher ingredients at my fingertips I’m trying to get in there more. I spent a day getting back into the groove. Tuesday and I cooked all morning and were in our jammies until one. All from a two block radius around our house. It is chilly. I want the heat on all the time… and blankies. I’m working super hard to get a rhythm down as we head into long cold nights and short rainy days. I’ve decided to try and get a bit of schedule together for myself, our meals, and Tuesday. We pretty much wing it… um daily. I don’t mind that so much, but I think with the time change it’s really having an effect on Tuesday. Plus I think she needs a bit more attention part…
