I showed bits of Violet’s dress in my last Ribbon Jar newsletter, but I finally got to see her in it, and it is just as cute as I thought it would be! This is a vintage pattern, Simplicity 8047 size 2 toddler. Copy write 1977. I wish I could find this pattern in the next size up, I love it. Emilie and I stopped at the old pioneer cemetery on our way to mail packages today. Just a quick 15 minuets to shoot. I’m teaching her some basics, she did great. Later we edited them in Lightroom, which I am liking more and more. I still use photoshop when needed, or wanted, but for basic editing/photo organization it rocks. On Friday I did my first non-family photo shoot (counting V as family of course). I was excited and a bit nervous as I hadn’t been to the house in years (they are a family friend) and I was curious if I could just go into a house I wasn’t familiar with and a baby I didn’t really know and get some good images with out scouting out the location.
