For my birthday Bj got me a flickr pro account. I’ve had a regular account for a while, but had not gone beyond adding a few images to my favorites. Today I decided to take the plunge and put in the little code and sign up. I did it because while visiting Shell’s photo stream I saw that she had taken pictures of her stash for Ravelry. Today was kind of a slow day for me, as in I moved so slow. I went to visit with grandpa and picked us up the usual, a frozen coke for me and chocolate shake for him, so that caffeine helped a little. Grandpa was in a kind of mood today that drives me crazy. Luckily I got to hang out with Sciarrino tonight and vent so you won’t get the brunt of it here because she did (love you Sciarrin!). Last night I was rocking the baby surprise sweater… So I started doing a ply of this awesome Maisy Day Merino. When you first start to spin your yarn is really slubby, full of thick and thin places, but at no real set intervals, couple that with insane twist problems and it can make for some crazy yarn. So I’ve gotten a lot better at making nice even thin singles. But I can’t seem to make even thick singles. So I reverted a bit and went for this thick and thin. I’m going to bring it…
