I love having a simple knit I don’t need a pattern for to take with me and knit all over the place. This is that pattern for me. I found a blanket I loved on Ravelry and modified the pattern a bit. I cast on in the middle and knit around and around. Every other round I switch colors for a truly scrappy look. Here are the details for this blanket. It finished at about 34″ square. I recently got a haul of Socks That Rock yarn by Blue Moon. If I was pressed to pick one yarn to knit with the rest of my life it would probably be this, it’s so versatile! Wait, yes, I said sock yarn. But really this stuff comes in three weights, is superwash, and the colors so yummy, that you can use it for nearly anything. This summer I needed some seriously easy knitting. No pattern, no fuss. But I wanted it to be interesting. Enter the copycat blanket.
