This last week Bj and I headed south to Cali to hang out at my dad’s winter place. I was hoping to get my sun on, but the planet had other ideas and it was a bit cloudy and rainy. Not that I minded much I spent most of my time doing this: Polo is sort of insane! And (at least at this club) not really as fancy as Pretty Woman would have you believe. Emilie and I stopped at the old pioneer cemetery on our way to mail packages today. Just a quick 15 minuets to shoot. I’m teaching her some basics, she did great. Later we edited them in Lightroom, which I am liking more and more. I still use photoshop when needed, or wanted, but for basic editing/photo organization it rocks. On Friday I did my first non-family photo shoot (counting V as family of course). I was excited and a bit nervous as I hadn’t been to the house in years (they are a family friend) and I was curious if I could just go into a house I wasn’t familiar with and a baby I didn’t really know and get some good images with out scouting out the location.
