Yuck, I got a cold! Boo hoo hoo especially because our dear friends are here form Alaska with their little cutie pie who is four months younger than Tuesday and I want to hang out! But in the interest of not sending them back up north sneezing and blowing their nose (and cursing my existence) I spent the day away and mainly in bed and on the couch (thanks to my mom and then a long nap by Tuesday—baby girl you rock so hard!). All your well wishes. Having my husband home. My silly little girl, and the fact that she fits into these. New scallop punches. Quickbooks reconciling with my checkbook for 2009. I always wait until the last minute, but I still have over a week to spare. That’s progress people. More time to create. Strips of fabric from friends. Wearing a non-nursing bra for the first time in 15 months… a one evening only thing as I went out with some fabulous friends Saturday. Cheese. I’m not sure. But hopefully my weekend will be filled with lots of: (I’ve managed to cobble together a decent set of “light” scraps for the quilt a long) Of the brights I still have way to many. Of course I should be working on this long neglected project: But my new yarn: And some liberty (pulled apart from a girls XL dress at Target): Are calling my name. We’ll see what wins out.
